3D-reconstruction
Sometimes viewing a specimen in two dimensions is not enough. More precise diagnosis can be set if you know how the specimen looks like in three dimensions.
The software module of Pannoramic Viewer, 3D lets you create the spatial reconstruction of a specimen. Of course you need the serial sections of that specimen to do that. 3D takes the rotation and location of each section into account when building the corresponding three-dimensional image. This replica can be rotated, sliced and sectioned arbitrarily.
