Scanning fluorescent microscopy
With fluorescent microscopy a whole new way is opened in the diagnostic process. Fluorescent staining can visualize parts of a section (and only those parts) you are interested in. Usually these parts are specified proteins which make fluorescent microscopy a powerful tool in cancer research.
The Pannoramic SCAN and the Pannoramic MIDI are capable of 9-channel fluorescent scanning*. A number of options is available (different cameras, compensation slides, automatic and manual scan settings, etc.) to make sure your fluorescent scans have the highest possible quality.
With Pannoramic Viewer and its built-in fluorescent software module the visualization of fluorescent virtual slides is easy and effective. Pannoramic Viewer lets you view the slides stained with different fluorescent dyes and scanned with different filters in multiple fluorescent channels at the same time. You can display the slides in 10 different fluorescent channels simultaneously so you can see the different interesting parts of a slide in different colours which makes diagnosis easier. The channels are handled separately and pseudo-colorization is available. Measuring and bookmarking is also possible.
