ImmunoScreener
ImmunoScreener is based on the same concept as TMA – that is, a study driven application for high throughput evaluation of great amount of data. As the name indicates, ImmunoScreener deals with immunohistochemistry-stained slides. With the help of immunohistochemistry you are able to stain the samples of a single specimen differently. With that you can highlight different parts of the sample on every glass slide.

ImmunoScreener lets you evaluate the samples through a grid-based segmentation system. The user can create a modifiable grid that can be fitted (properly aligned by rotating and shifting) on every slide of the same specimen. The blocks of the grid can be scored separately by multiple users and the data is saved for later statistical or database needs.
This way the scoring of differently stained slides is more standardized and more objective. Since the well defined areas are evaluated separately, the final score of the sample can be created by summarizing the different scores.
ImmunoScreener and HistoQuant are designed to work with each other. Therefore, the results of quantitative and qualitative measurements provided by HistoQuant are saved in the bookmarks’ properties and can be presented in ImmunoScreener’s gallery as well.
Semi-automated evaluation is possible when using HistoQuant measurement data for filtering.
