CaseManager is 3DHISTECH’s pathology information system for routine digital pathology. When integrated with a laboratory information system, a slide management framework and a digital microscope application, CaseManager establishes a collaborative working environment in the digital pathology workflow from case registration through slide management, storage and viewing to the final report.
Short turnaround times are required in every histology laboratory while the pieces of information necessary for high-quality diagnosis in the digital environment are available in different systems. Pathologists require an integrated environment to find all the information on the same page.
CaseManager is 3DHISTECH’s pathology information system for routine digital pathology. It provides pathologists with an easy-to-use case management function from digitization, through pathologist assignment, primary inspection, additional orders, consultation, image analysis, to diagnosis and final report.
When integrated with a laboratory information system, a slide management framework and a digital microscope application, CaseManager establishes a collaborative working environment in the digital pathology workflow from case registration through slide management, storage and viewing to the final report. This way, CaseManager seamlessly integrates the digital pathology workflow from case registration to the final report, resulting in shorter turnaround times and thus increased laboratory efficiency.
Multi-purpose digital pathology workflow support
CaseManager supports the digital pathology workflow with final report in histopathology, molecular pathology, cytology and autopsy.
Comprehensive, easy-to-use pathology case management
CaseManager’s patient-case management system offers a comprehensive system from digitalization, through pathologist assignment, primary inspection, additional orders, consultation and image analysis to creating a tumor board presentation.
CaseManager’s pathology case management function offers case priority handling, personal task and consultation scheduling as well as case forwarding when necessary. It has a financial module to calculate costs and it supports several diagnosis codes (SNOMED T, SNOMED M, ICD). Finally, final reporting with image attachments and digital signatures is also possible.
Comprehensive laboratory information system (optional)
Laboratory information system is provided by Track & Sign – with a sample management and documentation system from registration through embedding, sectioning and staining to digitalization.
It offers professional, barcode-based sample tracking and automatic work/task distribution among lab personnel. It also provides increased connectivity to several devices: label or slide and cassette printers as well as MacroStation.
Fully featured slide management tool (optional)
The slide management function is provided by CaseCenter, including slide storage, slide database management and teleconsultation support. CaseCenter’s slide database is capable of storing both macroscopic images and digital slides.
Powerful digital microscope function (optional)
As a state-of-the-art digital microscope, CaseViewer offers the unique feature of 9-slide parallel view on a single screen. It also offers automatic slide alignment and synchronization of serial sections, and supports teleconsultation on digital slides.
Quantitative image analysis framework (optional)
The optional QuantCenter applications provide the pathologist with a quantitative image analysis framework. QuantCenter’s eight analysis modules can be used to analyze samples (whole slides or annotations), including IHC (ER, PR, Ki67, Her2) and FISH quantification as well as morphological and morphometrical analysis. Batch processing with several modules is also possible.
