Frozen section

Frozen section is a solution by which a section extracted during surgery can be digitized in a matter of minutes, then viewed and evaluated at any location in the world…

It is possible for several pathologists to examine and analyze slides at the same time during a Teleconsultation session with real-time connection.

The ready-to-use frozen section sample can be digitized within a couple of minutes with the PANNORAMIC DESK for example, and pathologists at any location of the world can access the virtual slide, then open it with CaseViewer or the platform-independent InstantViewer.

Since the pathologist’s presence at surgery is not required, it is beneficial in terms of time-scheduling, and also, the case can be accessed and evaluated by specialists at any location.
